Born in the United States to a Catalan mother and an American father, who is a former professional basketball player, Cristina Vidal was brought up in Barcelona and moved to the town of Alella in the wine-growing region of Maresme when she was 12. We founded an opera tours company some years ago, which has ticked over gently for a while. Now we are based in Spain, we aim to expand the company as an interesting occupation in retirement.
