Cala Pedrosa

“This tiny restaurant is one of those sheltered little hideaways that makes one think of pirates and smugglers. You can reach it from via boat or by the coastal path. It is a lovely walk down but a bit more of a challenge on the way up! They are open only in the summer months, but the cove is great for a picnic all year round. The food is very basic – omelettes, sardines, ‘tostadas’, cherries – that kind of thing… ideal of for a hearty breakfast.”

“Take the 15 minute walk along the coastal path from La Fosca to Platja Castell, stop off for a dip in by the quaint fishing huts on S’Alguer. In the winter this is a great place for a weekend picnic.”
