Barcelona Big Bang: In Pictures
Day 1: Photocall at OneOcean Port Vell and the BBB Convoy
Here Lucas Fox co-founders Alexander Vaughan and Stijn Teeuwen pose with Lelle Wilderburg of Wileco Events, alongside one of the world’s most expensive cars, the Koenigsegg CCR EVO, on display at OneOcean Port Vell. The unique 1 million Euro Swedish-made Koenigsegg CCR EVO is the only car of its kind that has been made (by hand) worldwide.
Sponsored and organised by Lucas Fox International Properties alongside Wileco Events, the unique line up of high performance cars also included a Ferrari 458 Speciale, a Porsche 991 GT3 RS, a Lotus Exige and a Maclaren MP4.
Top models pose alongside these world-famous vehicles.
Sunday’s photocall kicked off a packed itinerary which saw some of Sweden’s leading entrepreneurs take to the tracks in these coveted supercars.
The sun shone over the recently revamped OneOcean Port Vell, where the Barcelona Big Bang’s grand finale took place place on Thursday 17th September at OneOceanClub, where Lucas Fox also celebrated its 10 year anniversary.
Rebecca Palson was the only female driver in the Barcelona Big Bang and was driving a Nissan GTR
The only female driver – 33-year-old Engineer Rebecca Palson (on the right) – described having the chance to race at the Formula One circuit as a ‘one-off’ opportunity and the set-up as ‘spectacular’ . She took to the tracks in a Nissan GTR with her father as co-pilot. Here, she is pictured alongside Lucas Fox social media consultant Dot Lung.
“Driving high performance cars has been in the family for a long time” Rebecca explains “I was an only child so it seemed logical that I carried on the tradition, despite being female. My dad taught me everything I know! Montmeló is an iconic track but, for me, driving is all about the physics and the technical side rather than emotional.”

The convoy took to the streets of Barcelona, passing iconic sites such as Gaudí’s Casa Batlló and La Pedrera and attracting the attention of thousands of passers by across the city.
Day 2: Trackside at Montmeló
Drivers gearing up for Day 2 of the Barcelona Big Bang, as they prepare to race at the prestigious Circuit de Barcelona, Montmeló.
This world famous track hosts the Spanish Formula 1 Grand Prix, as well as annual MotoGP events, and is one of the best known venues on the racing circuit.
